Each car is painted in the prototypical AMTRAK colors of SILVER with RED/BLUE stripes and RED-WHITE-BLUE AMTRAK 'arrow' logo. 2011 is the 40th Anniversary of AMTRAK as the nation's passenger railroad. On April 1, 1971, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, now AMTRAK, began operating most of the intercity passenger trains as 1 unified system. Both cars replicate actual AMTRAK passengers cars that operated on the AMTRAK system. Delivery is expected in Spring 2012, however quantities will be limited. Cars are sold only as a SET.
