CANADIAN PACIFIC Railroad painting and lettering in the distinctive silver with maroon/gtey end cab with CP 'Beaver' logo" scheme.
The CPR used an RDC on branchlines and provided connections to many of the CP's transcontinental passenger trains such as "The Canadian" and also provided the only contact to the 'outside world' for many rural Canadian communities in the Canadian Shield.
Today (2011) a few remaining CPR RDC cars operate for VIA RAIL CANADA, in Ontario and Quebec provinces.
