This production run diuffers in that the handrails are now painted YELLOW and the ORANGE ball design on cupola is not used in this version. In 1942, the CNJ built 50 cabooses as 91500-91549 as their first, only and last steel cabooses until the CNJ was absorbed into CONRAIL in 1976. Of these 50 steel cabooses built, perhaps 10 survive in museums and private ownership including the 'real' CNJ #91545 that is owned by Walter M. Matuch of Ready Made Toys.
