The M&E is a well known NJ shortline railroad headquartered in Whippany, NJ. The M&E operates four lines in Morris County New Jersey, all connected by trackage rights over NJ Transit. Freight is interchanged with NORFOLK SOUTHERN at Lake Junction NJ, and carried to customers over the M&E's 158-mile system of tracks. |
