Ore cars are part of the CP's freight car roster and this paint scheme was introduced in the late 1960's when the CP consolidated the identity of its rail-ship-air corporations.

Red with white CP RAIL lettering-numbers and distinctive 'pac-man' CP logo.

Reference is made to the McIntyre Mine, an underground gold mine in Schumacher, Ontario, Canada, which has earned a place in Canadian mining history as one of the nation's most important mines. The McIntyre also yielded a considerable amount of copper over its life and the mine was the first in Ontario to sink a shaft to below 4,000 ft.

Always the innovator, McIntyre Mine Manager Ennis took the lead in mine safety establishing early procedures which gave a daily report on safety conditions underground, a standard that is common today (2009).

The McIntyre mine was located along the tracks of the ONTARIO NORTHLAND RWY's line to Timmins, Ontario and then connected with CP RAIL at North Bay, Ontario, CANADA.
