Artwork shows RMT-96499-17A as BCK/BUFFALO CREEK #6464917. Also available as RMT-96499-17B BCK/BUFFALO CREEK #649303. Each box car features the BCK 'Flour Bag' logo done correctly as WHITE flour bag and BLACK lettering. The original K-line offering showed a different logo.
The Buffalo Creek RR was the workhorse for the grain industry in Buffalo, NY and was the primary railroad connection between the many flour mills and grain processors of the city and the major railroads that delivered grain and other products to be milled and/or stored in Buffalo's grain elevators.
The familiar BCK 'Flour Bag' logoed boxcars were an everyday sight on
many Northeastern railroads.
