Painted black in the classic WM 'Fireball' red/yellow logo/lettering scheme. The prototype WM #144 was built by ALCO/American Locomotive Works, Schnectady, N.Y. in December, 1946 and was as a yard switcher in many locations along the WM until retired and sold for scrap in 1972. |
